I’m a member of the Microbiology and Immunology Department at Stanford.  My long term goal is to reduce the impact of infections and I do this by studying disease tolerance and resilience.  I’ve worked on fruit flies since I started graduate school but recently  started doing experiments with mice and look at existing data for humans.

My academic work can be found here:

I started this blog to discuss things that are related to my studies but don’t fit into normal scientific papers.  I’ve been obsessing with sculptural data representations that I like and think are useful and I’m hoping that others also find these interesting.
